Design Token

design tokens are the core components that carry the visual design attributes of your RC plane project. They allow for the design attributes to be saved, shared, and reapplied to other projects with ease. This document explains how to manage and utilize these design tokens effectively.

What are Design Tokens?

Design tokens are unique identifiers that store design attributes such as dimensions, shapes, colors, and material properties. They act as a 'recipe' for recreating a specific part of your RC plane design, which can include:

  • Geometric Tokens: These tokens define the shapes and dimensions of your plane, such as wingspan, fuselage length, and control surface areas.

  • Material Tokens: These capture the specifications of the materials you choose, including density, texture, and color.

  • Aesthetic Tokens: These include non-functional attributes like paint, decals, and custom graphics.

How to Use Design Tokens

Generating Tokens

As you build and customize your RC plane using our 3D Design Tool, the platform dynamically creates and updates design tokens to reflect each aspect of your design.

  • Real-Time Updates: Every change you make is immediately saved as a new token or updates an existing one.

  • Automated Tracking: You don't need to manually create these tokens; our system handles it all in the background.
